Refund Policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
If WebToSpeech is not for you, you can have your money back within 14 days of your first payment. This page sets out how that works, and what happens after those 14 days.
Hosted subscription
- Your first payment is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of making it. Your subscription ends when we refund it.
- Cancelling is done under Billing in your settings, at any time. You are not charged again, and you keep the subscription until the end of the month you have paid for.
- Renewals are not refunded, and we do not refund part of a month, unless one of the situations under “When something has gone wrong” applies.
When something has gone wrong
Whatever the dates above say, we will refund you if:
- you were charged twice, or charged after you cancelled;
- the service you paid for was unavailable or did not work, and we could not fix it within a reasonable time;
- we close the service or remove something you have paid for, in which case we refund the period you cannot use.
Our services also come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing on this page limits those rights, or any right to a refund that the law where you live gives you.
If you live in the EU or the UK
You have a legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. The 14-day refunds above are how we honour it: ask within that time and you are refunded in full, whether or not you have used the service.
How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and tell us which payment you would like refunded. You do not need to give a reason. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and usually show up within five to ten working days.
If a charge looks wrong, please write to us before disputing it with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster, and a dispute freezes the payment until the bank has decided.
